If he ended up with the Giants, that should would be the deal. Too bad it only lasted like 15 minutes.

J-E-T-S

i worry that the Jets wont trade for a new QB and stay "loyal" to the Chad. I love that kid, but I dont think he'll be our future. He hasnt given us 1 full season, ever. And the last guy to lead us to the AFC Champioship was Vinny.

im sorry Chad , but we need a new Captian.

I'm still crossing my fingers that he'll end up starting next season at NCSU.

Uh, the Rams suck balls for 1 reason, and their QB is not one of them. Bolger is nice, but their fucking head coach/OC (same guy) is a shit head. Yeah, Holt lead the league in receiving yards before today and he still might, but its not too hard to stop the pass when you throw the ball 40 times a game on average. Problem is that they have 2 of the best running backs money can buy, and they probably ran the ball 15-18 times today. Not too hard to stop a team that is one dimensional because they chose to be.

This would be a bad fit for Rivers b/c I think he would benefit from an offense that runs the ball more, like SD. The Rams also throw a LOT of deep balls, and im not sure Rivers is capable of throwing the money ball quite yet(but who knows).

Hell, I'm a Rams fan so I would rather have Rivers in St. Louis than anywhere, but I think it would be a horrible place for him to play.

btw, rams threw the ball 62 times today and ran it 15 times.

Martz is just an awful head coach.

He can't make a right decision to save his life.

Down 10 in the third quarter he elects to go for a 4th down from the ~20 yard line.

Obviously, thats a questionable call but he got away with it.... so whats he do the next play? Some crazy ass reverse involving a lateral with Steven Jackson... FUMBLE!!

I dont understand it really. He's one of the top 5 offensive coordinators in football probably, why on earth would anyone allow him to keep being a head coach though?

And by the way Rivers needs to shut the fuck up. Stop being such a baby. You decided that money was more important than playing, so take your paycheck and shut it you crybaby.

for once, I agree with you. (ok well not with the rivers comment cause he took less money, more guaranteed...sticky situation it sounded like)

He is terrible, and everyone I know in st. louis wants him GONE. They really do have one of the best offenses in the game right now, but they are so 1 dimensional its funny. Defense sucks balls, but that might take a few years to fix. Offense can be good...no great now if they play the right way.

how do they have one of the best offenses in the game right now?

i mean, they have talent

but there are quite a few teams out there with more weapons and more points.

well marshal faulk is your the BACKUP running back for one. Holt, Bruce, Macdonald, and a few new guys receiving are incredible. The QB has deadly acuracy. O-line needs some work, but I would argue that nobody has as many weapons on offense, especially depth at receiver.

But my point was that their offense sucks because of play calling. Just because you have depth at receiver doesn't mean you have to give every one of them 10 touches a game. Points are low for them because they throw the ball away 2-3 times a game, but who wouldnt when you throw 62 passes in one game?

Anyway back to Rivers...

If he had gone to training camp he probably would have been given the starting job..

so he has NO ONE to blame but himself for giving Brees the opportunity to win the job.

One of them should be traded by next year anyway.... but as of now he's completely unproven so he doesn't need to be in the background bitching about playing time.

That extra $1.5 million was his obviously his #1 priority and he got that.... so shut up and do whats good for the team.

they already drafted Aaron Rodgers so i doubt theyd invest in another QB with a big salary right now...

Jets seems plausible... few other teams should be looking... Detroit maybe. Arizona definitely...

Leinart is option #1 for everyone though...

Guys Guys rest easy tonight.... Shannon Sharpe told Philip today where he would be next year...

When Marino said Rivers says he wont be on the bench in San Diego next year, Sharpe said "thats right because you will be on the bench somewhere else, Drew Brees is for real da man..."

so since Shannon said it, it must be true...

Jets trade their 1st round pick for Vinny T. and a kicker to be named later.

seriously tho, the Jets cooler talk has been more about trading down for more experinced players. if thats the case, and from it seems from Hermidenger is that Chad will not be ready for 06, Rivers could be an option.

but SD would make us give up a lot more than just #1.
