did you forget driving school instruction?
a set of tires can only handle x amount of load by the rear wheels doing the power part it leaves more grip for the front to steer you.

Which would make your car handle better.
unless you like understeer
YOU DON'T LIKE UNDERSTEER DO YOU?

that there corolla isn't understeering (it oversteers if you drive it properly)

front wheel drive does put the power down at the wrong end of the car, but it can work. Even in a Corolla.

I won't claim to drive better than anybody, but I will claim that my track car's quite a bit faster than the Hondas I've seen here. As for instructing goes, yeah, a lot of Porsche drivers suck, just like a lot of Honda drivers suck. Too bad you guys don't have any strong driving focused clubs that Porsche drivers can instruct at. Ofcourse most Honda guys don't need instruction on which wing to get or what neon kit's the hottest, but then again maybe they should eh?
