I spotted it on Maynard / Chapel Hill Rd. and barely had time to grab my camera phone. I am thinking it was a Lotus Esprit. Anyone?

The wheels may look cheap, but they sure aren't. They're made by OZ.

I'm actually looking at an SE model as my next purchase. If you're looking into one, now is the time to get one. With 2004 being the final model year, prices should start to rise again. It'll be interesting to see what the replacement looks like. Esprits don't photograph well. Once you see one in person, they are much more striking. Similar to a Countach, it looks bulky in pictures, but everything proportions into perfection in real life.
