The first one was good, the 2nd was ok. all of the sequels have just been shameless ploys to get more money from the lcd.
I don't blame meyers for not wanting to do the same played out characters yet again.

the first was only kinda good until the second came out. kinda like rush hour 2, same jokes but somehow manages to be a much better/tweaked formula.

Hollywood people have been bitching that movie attendance is at an all time low.

Oh ok, good. I could scarcely believe that this shit was actually going to happen.

The first one was great, the second one wasn't anything new but it was still good, and the third one was pretty sub-par. I don't think a fourth one would work out very well.

I heard about it on the radio this morning. Apparently it is set to be released around the same time as a new James Bond film. The new James Bond film is based on Bond in his earlier years.

I would not be surprised to learn that the RIAA and the MPAA are deliberately making terrible music/movies. When sales fall they can then blame the internets. When their legislation passes based on the "data" they can then resume business as usual. I mean that is the only explanation for the crap that has been entertainment in the '00s. No sane human being would come out with the movies that have been released in the past several years.

That is an interesting theory.

It would be truly evil of them, but that is who we are dealing with.

I just thought it was completely asinine for the MPAA to blame everyone except themselves for poor sales. And although it is tin-foil hat territory but but it could be happening.
