Did they fix the texture and polygon problems for the PS2? I heard that they were having problems getting it to even half the quality of the GC version.

yeah they were having problems and I'd assume they fixed them if they're willing to release it. Capcom really knew how to exploit Game Cube's real potential.

Na...you can't really tell the difference in graphics b/t the GC and the PS2 version unless you see what system it's playing on. I'm pretty sure the load time is gonna looong as hell on the PS2 though. Either way, the game is awesome.

one question:

Were the people holding the shovels and shit zombies or just people.

If zombies ill be pissed.

unless the story is cool.

Well they aren't exactly zombies in the regular context that you would normally think of. I would tell you but I don't want to ruin the story for your (or anyone else who reads the thread). If you REALLY want to know, pm me.

Leon is a beast as long as you can keep a decent distance between you and the big baddies... Ada Wong is the high score machine

No, Hunk is the highscoring machine with his neck breaks... but Leon is ridiculously easy to get huge combos with.

I haved owned this game for some time now. In my opinion, I would say that Wesker and Hunk are the highest scoring of the Mercs. Actually, all of them are easy to get a really high score with, you just have to figure out a methodology to each Merc. For example, I got my higest score with Wesker in the second floor of the castle (the room that when you exit it, you are lead to the area where the Garrorador(sp?) spawns) without even leaving the floor!

what are some ya'lls highest combos?

i'm thinking i concentrate on those way too much instead of steadily progressing through the level

I know in the first level and waterworld I had a set routine that I ran every time to be able to pick up all the timers, it worked good with mostly all characters and I was able to get my combos over 50 and get like 20k points off each of the bonus timers. This was on gamecube, not sure if its different for PS2 tho.

I acheived a score of 120K+ with each player, and 300K+ with Wesker, Hunker, and Ada.
