Who's watching?

I just want to see him justify this loss in person. I personally can't wait.

Since the NFL game ran over until 8PM, Chuck's show probably won't be on until 12:30 or so.

why not as long as the ball is not in Jay's hand at all, unless he is handing it off to someone.

^^ I don't see how Davis gives us a chance to win at all. Every time I have seen Stone in there he has much better poise, mechanics, and throws a much better and more accurate pass.

Why the hell not start Stone? Davis is not going to win us a game anyway!

^ you have lost your mind.

better poise?

How does tucking the ball and running EVERY play demonstrate poise?

You do realize that Marcus Stone allowed more points against Eastern Kentucky than our defense did, right?

I still don't get why people have such a hardon for Stone.

He's fucking terrible. Sure, he has a more prototypical QB arm than davis, but he's dumber than a bag of bags.

Davis is a mediocre QB, which sadly is the best we have right now.

^we've yet to give greco a chance

also, i agree that davis is a better decision maker than stone. the problem though, is that when davis decides on the correct receiver to throw the ball to, he throws it about 8 feet over his head, or 20 feet in front of him. personally, i'd rather have stone in there and actually get the ball to the place he decides to throw it. he may throw 1 or 2 more INTS than jay, but i think he'd have much fewer stalled drives because of a horribly thrown ball on 3rd down.

we're 2-3 and about halfway through jay's final year here. he's proven that he will never be any better than he is right now, and i think with the way we're playing now it's pretty obvious we aren't headed to a bowl game. now is the time to break in a new starting QB so we don't have growing pains when we try to do that next season.

if we can get stone or greco comfortable with the starting job, maybe we can actually win some games next year. if not, then just let justin burke come in and start as a freshman.

but ultimately, whichever way you go, i think it's a waste to continue playing davis at this point

I think if Chuck could give all of the fans a BJ or at the least, a nice hand job, he would. It is obvious that he feels bad about it, and its not like he doesn't know what the problem is. whatever.

Now, I haven't seen Greco play, so all of this is based on hearsay...but it seems like he's just like Stone.

I mean, after all, he did only throw for 900 yards his senior year. So it seems to me like he just wants to run the ball, too.

^^ No way.

Stone was a great QB in high school. He's got the body, mind, and arm for a QB.

Greco is just an athlete. He's not much more of QB than I am. Greco is much much faster than Stone... he could play CB if that speed of his is for real (What... like a 4.31... electronically timed?)

Stone ran a 4.6 in high school

When I say "just like Stone," I mean "not a QB." Stone has had a few decent passes, but even he couldn't score in the red zone against Clemson.

Overall, we're just freakin' pathetic on offense. If you can't score a TD with Hall, Clark, Hicks, Barrett, Williams, and Baker as options, you suck. Period.

I say it does not matter who is QB until we have a halfway decent line. Neither one has time to throw.

Chuck makes excuses while sounding like a retard at the same time.

Granted, he can't just admit that he sucks on live TV. But, he could cancel the "Walk of Pathetic Losers" and remove the names from the jerseys to incite some teamwork, and oh yeah, he could instill some fear & discipline as a coach at the minimum.

For awhile I believed all those "We're close" comments. No Chuck, we're not close. We suck beyond description. I have absolutely no faith in our ability to win against Wake, and if we do it'll be against all instictive intution that I have.
