man, i am so glad that we got to see that movie for free. definitely DO NOT see it. we walked out of there saying "what the fuck?" It's the kind of movie that makes you wonder what is *really* going on...

but then it doesn't explain it at the end...It just leaves you wondering why you wasted your time...

I wanted it to be a good movie because i really like ryan gosling...i was so disappointed

yep, definetly one of those psychological thrillers that you kinda coast through the movie not knowing exactly what is going on because you know in the end it will all come together, but once the ending comes around youre even more confused

I read a draft of the script, basically whats going on is...


SPOILER (for those who care)







Gosling, his girl, and his parents were in a wreck. Gosling, knocked out, believes its his fault, hence the forgive me's all over the place. Everything that happens in the movie is him creating this imaginary world involving everyone he sees at the scene of the crash, which they say earlier hes apparently great at. Don't know if that all made it into the movie, but about 40 pages into the script it was really easy to figure out what was going on.

I felt like it was Donnie Darko all over again. I kept waiting for something to happen where I would go, "OOOOOOHHHH, that explains everything!" It never happened.
I still liked it for some reason. Probably because I keep managing to pick the crappiest movies out there to see, so this wasn't so bad in comparison.

theres just so much that isnt right...

if this movie is just a dream becuase over his guilt

why all the side shit...trying to make this a like a character shizm movie...a ghost movie...its like your are being thrown off for no good reason

the imagery and cinematics were powerful enough, we didnt need the dreamscape to include a conflict where the man talking to him while hes dying somehow become him himself

everything is amazing in this movie except the plot...i would have rathered a more explicative ending

i dont get why the two people become lovers in his dream world...they just met...its just all very arbitrary


and then...so he really died by accident??? WTF!!! if thats true..then everything about him being this tortured artist doesn fit. why not actually have him try to kill himself and then cause all this other shit. thats where youd get some real guilt.
