I think that this may be some kind of communications project for a course. Like a student that they put in front of a camera and they are graded on how well they do.

i saw him on Leno and he said he worked on the staff for the show, and they talked him into filling in for the regular dude at the last moment. how embarressing, but i bet it eventually got him som bitches.
