Someone please verify this. If you are taking ECE492G in Fall, then you don't have to regsiter for ECE480L in Spring, when taking ECE480.

I am not sure if we have to register and not attend the 480L or something. Ms Townsend's email said they will be changing ECE480 to 3 hr credit course with ECE492G being the other 1 hour. However it is a 4 hr credit course for spring 2006, so I wanted to double check.

And I am not talking about the entrepreneurial sections

According to what I heard somebody say from Townsend - right now sign up for your 480 or 481 lab that it tells you to. In the Spring, they apparently will roll out a 3-hour Senior Design class and then you're supposed to switch to that.

I think it's just stupid. But I guess if that's the best way they think to handle it...oh well.

But yeah - you're correct in that 492G replaces the 480/481L requirement. Therefore if you're taking 492G now, you don't take the Senior Design Lab in the Spring or whenever you take Senior Design.

although the bar code guy was kind of cool

something about being pissed your idea was ripped off

and then being happy that your company isnt tried as a monopoly

First....re-read ^ about 10 times.

If you took 492G in the Fall......and you passed (which if you did the assignments and turned "something" in...you should have...) you don't need to go to 480L and in fact you should not be signed up for it.

I asked Townsend and she said to not sign up for that class and they were working on moving people who had 492G into a 3 hour senior design class.
