^^ all i'm saying is that diplomatic problems can come to war much more quickly with a country that doesn't have them versus one that does. especially one that is bat-shit crazy.

but it's a losing battle to keep them away from developing nations. if you can't sweet talk them into giving it up, then you have to just say "alright fuck it, you've got them, but if you so much as point a nuke skyward, we're blowing you off the map."

This has to be looked at in the context that every year, at the end of Ramadhan, there is a government sanctioned demonstration calling for the end of Israel. Every Year. This is all talk for domestic consumption.

Iran's economy is in the dumps, the people are mad and angry and it is easy to focus the blame towards Israel. Even the Palenstinian Authority came out and rebuked the comments, saying they didn't want rid of Israel.

It is just a lot of chest beating that happens every year, except this time they ran their mouth a little too much. The international community has taken notice, Israel will put on the pressure in the U.N. and we have a good change of shutting down their nuclear program diplomatically.

^ Agreed. As dumb as these comments are, it's hardly anything shocking coming out of Iran. Afterall, the entire "Death to the Great American Satan" line is one that we've heard so much coming out of them, I think we're pretty much numb to it at this point.
