the first batman with the joker was the best out of those 4. jack was a perfect joker (in my opinion)

the batmobile was the most realistic one yet...
the bonus features on disc 2 show that it actually works, they actually ran over cars with it, and it actually went 100 mph in the chase scenes.....

Well since the whole thing about the original Batman movie is that The Joker killed Wayne's parents and Batman Begins kinda did away with that, I'd imagine it's a new sequel.

it is a new sequel. they reported it as soon as the first movie hit theaters...

batman begins acted as if the other batman movies never existed..they have started from scratch..
hence the storyline not following the first batman where the joker killed his parents...

the next one will feature the joker plus another villain, probably scarecrow returning... they are searching for an actor to face the joker...
two-face will also be in a later film...he will get scarred by a criminal throwing acid at him in the courtroom

The Batman Begins movies follow more strictly to the actual comicbook story line. Thus his dark night training, difference is parents death, etc etc. Its all true to the original batman comics unlike the earlier movies
