I have a 1.5 gig file that I need to get on another computer. I don't have a DVD burner, so I can't burn it. Since it can't be broken up, I can't email it. Most of the free hosting pages on a website have limits as well. Is there no way to transfer this file from one computer to the other without pulling out the hard drive?

if they're on the same network, transfer it across the network (windows file sharing). or, set up a ftp server on the computer that has the file and log in to the ftp server from the other computer

winzip/winrar/winace/etc, split into two 650mb archives, burn each to cd, copy both to other computer from cds, open first file and it will extract everything and you will have 1 1.5gb file on the 2nd computer.
