Melvins Hamburgers on Hillsborough Street has applied for an alcohol permit so they can serve beer when they stay open until 1:00 am. They should be ready to serve when the Hillsborough Hike takes place. 10/30/2005 9:41:32 PM |

I noticed that when I first ate there about a month back. I talked to the guy at the counter and he said they plan to keep them there... if it becomes a problem they'll move it into the corner between the two rooms.

I overheard some frattie talking to an employee the other day. He said that they'd leave the nonfunctioning taps out next to the coke machine, but would only serve from behind the counter. 10/31/2005 1:06:22 AM |

Tell the owner to leave the fries as they are. The fries are awesome and they don't need to change to the crinkle cut ones. 10/31/2005 10:24:13 PM |

the fries right now arent anything special, it might be worth a shot to change them up 10/31/2005 11:23:39 PM |

Also, I'd be for having larger servings of fries. The dozen or so I get don't really do me any good.
Think about going to "baskets" for serving devices, instead of trays. Also, I wouldn't mind seeing a little more expansive menu, even if it means things get a bit slower. 10/31/2005 11:51:27 PM |

The first two times I went the fries kicked ass. The next time, business was a little slow, and I got old fries. WTF? If there is nobody behind me in line, I don't mind waiting an extra 45 seconds to a minute for fresh fries. 11/1/2005 9:46:45 PM |

attn melvins: PLEASE DRY THE FUCKING TRAYS BEFORE YOU PUT MY FOOD ON THEM. IT SUCKS TO OPEN YOUR SOGGY HAMBURGER WRAPPER AND FIND YOUR BURGER SOGGY BECAUSE SOME SHIT BIRD BEHIND THE COUNTER DIDNT DRY THE TRAY. if i wasnt going to be late for class, i would have complained and gotten another burger. 11/2/2005 7:06:58 AM |
