I'd like to get a small steel part chromed, but I need to find a local or semi-local place.
Can anyone recommend anywhere in town that can chrome a piece 11x17x8", its only a few pieces of 3/4" flat stock steel, not some giant monstrosity.
Also anyone know how much $$ it will set me back to have it done? 10/31/2005 1:12:19 PM |

Bump. http://www.surtronics.com/ had a fire and won't be able to chrome anything for at least a year. Any other places local to Raleigh area? 8/30/2013 12:23:47 PM |

that sucks, I too was thinking about chroming some metal pieces and sadden that the tech shop left us. I was going to powder coat or chrome myself. 8/31/2013 5:39:23 AM |

My father has some steel bar stools that sit outside under the covered deck year round. He wants to chrome them. I *think* they may already be chromed, but they are covered in lots of rust. 7/7/2014 2:45:34 PM |
