Who is going to win this year? I'll go with Milan.

Oh and I just saw the EPL standings. How THE FUCK is Wigan still 2nd? 2 of he promoted teams are in the top half of the table still. West Ham (my favorite club) is still 9th.

Oh, I don't give a shit if you don't like soccer so save your post.

chelski has made soccer boring but they will win three out of the four trophies. Champions league, EPL, and FA Cup. at least that arrogant ass hole Mourinho lost in the carling cup.

i never cared about soccer when i was in the states, it´s too hard to follow the right way. but i´ve been in spain this semester and now i love it, these fans are hardcore as shit and soccer is life. i was pissed about missing football season but from all of your posts i don´t think i´m missing much....anyways, barcelona will win it all, ronaldhino is god.

^^^ You're right, it is hard to get into soccer here. I'm a MetroStars fan and thanks to a nice service mlsnet.com has, I can watch all their games live on their website, but it doesn't really mean much cause I have no one outside of an online forum to talk to about it. Although being a soccer fan in NC is easier than being a non-NASCAR racing fan in NC.

^yeah, take tonight for example...i´m watching the Chelsea vs. Betis game with a spanish family, and they´re flipping out on every play and screaming. it´s an interesting experience and impossible not to like.

just checked the scores.

How is Betis beating Chelski. It just makes no sense. I mean they can't even beat anyone in the league and they are 1 up on the best club in the world (at least IMO -- though i HATE them)

That would be hilarious if Chelsea didn't qualify for the knockout stage. I'm sure Liverpool would like that too. Now imagine if Liverpool gets upset by Real Betis in a few weeks' time. Assuming Anderlecht losing their two remaining games, how the table will turn out will depend on that Liverpool-Chelsea game. The English sportswriters are licking their chops if that happens.

Liverpool 3-0-1 10pts
Chelsea 2-1-1 7pts
Real Betis 2-2-0 6pts
Anderlecht 0-4-0 0pts

On November 23:

Chelsea @ Anderlecht
Real Betis @ Liverpool

On December 6:

Liverpool @ Chelsea
Anderlecht @ Real Betis

^ They always show one of the following: Chelsea, Manchester United, Real Madrid and on very rare occasions Liverpool.

poor performance the last two times out for united. rio is the biggest waste of 120,000 pounds a week. chelski could thump them worse then Middlesbrough. it makes me sad that no trophies will be coming to old trafford this season.

Keano is getting the last laugh because he's been saying the young United players don't play hard enough for almost two years, and *bam* they're out of Europe because they didn't play hard.

Keane is supposedly going to Celtic.

Rangers and Villarreal each got a very lucky draw.

Another side story to Arsenal and Real Madrid is David Beckham playing in England.

^^^^ just watched Lyon for the first time this year today -- they played Lille at home and looked miserable but from what I've read/heard, they've really been great this year. Have you watched them play anybody? I'm just curious if you had a specific reason for picking them

I don't care who wins it all really, I just hope that Barcelona-Chelsea is as good as last year, great stuff

This is about the F.A. Cup but on FSC right now Birmingham City (obviously a top flight club) is being given all they can handle by Torquay United (a side about to be relegated from Division 2 down to the Conference League...).

Torquay just hit a rocket off the bar and then a minute later the Birm keeper made a diving save to his right. I love watching these early F.A. games when the small clubs get the Premeirship sides to come there to play..
