is there any market for unused airbags out of a vehicle? ive got a project that calls for a new dash and driver controls, so airbags are gonna be coming out

any ideas? would i be able to sell them to a body/repair shop as an private citizen (as opposed to a dealer?)

sell them on ebay, lots of people do.

you're *supposed* to ship them as a hazardous material. it's a PITA trying to ship them, tho.

I would go the ebay route. You can check completed auctions to see what kind of money people are paying for what you've got.

Private shop would probably have to worry about liability if they sourced used airbags. But ya never know, they may be shopping for their on Ebay too
