Hey man, i'm sure you might get calls for off road recovery and stuff like that from stuck dumbasses, and I hope you can make some extra money doing it. Just be careful, if you're going to do that, and advertise it, then you should look into insurance and/or liability waivers. Lets say you pull out some high school fucker in a ZJ or something and then he finds damage after the fact. He could sue your ass very easily and win. There are serious legal implications to advertising and performing such a service.

Yea I need to figure out a new background/color scheme but everytime I try something it looks like crap and I didn't want to leave it blank if anyone has any ideas let me know. Thanks 11/3/2005 12:41:24 AM |

Oh also in response to stone tru I agree that a torsion bar crank is very easy but when I eventually start advertising and stuff my target audience isn't gonna be the experienced offroader, it's gonna be for new people coming into off-roading or people who just want to lift or do mods for looks, and people who want to make their daily driver look better. I think that will actually be a more succesful tactic because most people who are already into 4 wheeling don't really need others to do their stuff, they can do it themselfs. I was looking at current 4 wheel drive shops and by no comparison the majority of the money they all make is from the above mentioned crowd. Look at 4 wheel parts, experienced people know not to get their stuff installed their because they are idoits, but, they still amke tons of money off the pre mantioned crowd. I guess it's all about marketing strategy, I am currently trying to get my buisness degree w/ a concentration in marketing and trying to apply what I learn there plus from my dad to my own buisness endevors. It's all about making $$$ in the end so you have to know weather or not you're target audience is really gonna bring in what you need. Anyway like I said it'll be a while before I go big with this, and any constructive input on the website would be great

i have an honest question for you. How have you not crushed those pipes under your rear bumper from wheeling yet? Do you just go mudding or do you actually wheel it? 11/4/2005 11:53:48 PM |
jrraw23 Starting Lineup 72 Posts user info edit post |
Actually I had the rear pipes re routed a while ago when I did the Shackle Flip. They are now split tail. But to answer you're question the Z71 has been on every trail in uwharrie except Daniel, and when we did Rocky Mtn. Loop I skipped Kodak Rock. But the Z71 is a street queen anyway its not a hardcore off-roader at all. At this point though It's officially retired from off-roading because I'm tired of breaking my daily driver and now I have the CJ/YJ and Samurai to mess with.

hahahaha no winch and u advertise recovery on your web site. man you are a piece of work! my next question. how are you going to get to people who are stuck with no lockers, and no winch. much less pull them out? every person looking at that website knows by the rigs on it that yall are total mall crusiers. u may want to add your 220 mod in your moms house on the list too.11/6/2005 12:08:12 PM |

Like I said as far as recovery the buisness ain't the real deal yet, and I do have a locker in the rear of the Z71, unfortunatly they don't offer any traction control for a 1/2 ton IFS, but the Cj/Yj has lockers front and rear, and so will the Samurai whenever i get around to it. But yea I will be getting a winch later on down the road though.
hah, I wish I could afford high priced cutting and welding tools 11/6/2005 2:37:04 PM |

look...we aren't joking with you or giving you a hard time, when we say you are a stupid fuck we mean it. you are worthless and annoying to everyone you present yourself to. you hang around people's garages and piss them off and thingkthat by watching someone weld some tube together and seeing how its bent and seeing a few lifts put on you know something and can start your fucking bullshit business. let me clue you in you can't. there are a few of us on here that know shit and know how to do it right and safe. you are not one of them. do yourself a favor and learn that we do not take you seriously and think that you are a mall-cruising queer, observe some more but take in knowledge and try alot more shit out than doing a couple shitty ass kit lifts from rubicon express or skyjackulater before you start shooting off your mouth about starting a bullshit company and website that may or may not be started...the best way to do shit is to go do it, do it right, and then once people that actually know shit about cars ask you about it cause its so fucking cool, and ask you to make something for them, then, maybe then you could build and sell something, but starting a fucking website advertising something that no one trusts you with is not the way to go, especially after you've already pissed off everyone around here with your know knowledge annoying self bullshit
