So i guess i'll get you guys some pictures of my new car tommorow, apparently somewhere karma decided if i have something nice/normal in the way of a vehicle for more than three weeks it needs dents.

Someone jumped on my hood and walked across the roof of my benz last night (yeah me mr fraternity douchebag whining about my mercedes being fucked with) completely caving in the hood and bending the sunroof enough to bind up. Note to all who park near city market at night, this was right in front of rum runners where they managed to do it apparently.

Where should i take this?

I seriously doubt Kenny Hawkins will mess with such an old car, even though we dont know the year its a box benz, and thats fairly old.

Furthermore, after the negative experience we had taking my gf's accord to Kenny Hawkins I wont reccomend them again. In short it involved a rushed incomplete quarterpanel replacement (which honestly may have not even be completely replaced after all), failure to repaint the rear bumper cover initallly, and an overall feeling that we were being swindled. NOT a positive experience, and not up to the quality I expected from them.

I have heard Tyrese body shop on US1 in N. Raleigh/Wake Forest does high quality work, even though it has a ghetto name.

BACK on topic, James why not locate a salvage hood and sunroof panel (to those who dont realize, its metal not glass) and do the repair yourself? Then find someone who can do a good job matching the paint on the side? I know zxappeal has discussed some paint work with a few users here, also underPSI knows a guy who does quality side work.

I would do any of the above if i
A: felt like fooling with it and paying out of pocket which i don't
B: felt i could get an adequate repair (to nearly new condition) done which i don't
C; Didnt have full coverage and had no choice
D: Thought i'd never hear about it again from parents if it wasnt done right

This is a 93, and previous to this was garaged its entire life, and in 12 years barely racked up 100k miles, impeccibly maintained. The exterior of the car was better than any other 190 i've ever seen, interior basically like new.

I got a hella nice economical driver for 1500 bucks that doesnt have the boring and clapped out fell that anything else its age would be. Hell other than me the engine prolly hasnt seen any rpms and the even the adjuster at kenny hawkins today asked if the sunroof was ever used before i had it.

I just want one decent driver thats conservative but not boring. Kenny Hawkins didnt laugh at it so i'm hopin for the insurance co to set it straight, and the body shop to get it to previous condition. Stupid deductible is $1k

They don't specialize in German cars, but I'd recomend true2form. They've always done a good job between me and my two brothers.

Kenny Hawkins is awesome if you have a really, really nice car... I have a 97 CL (not in that category) that they worked on in 99, and they had to touch it up twice and ended up "forgetting" to put in a new headlight assembly. But they always have nice cars there.
