What are the extra lines on the court at the RBC for. The ones that are like a light red.

pre-season 3 point line. They have been doing it for a few seasons now...just to see how shooting percentages change. If you sat close enough, you could see that it looked like pink athletic tape...its not staying.

I believe the lane is also a little wider for preseason games. I would be fine if they actually moved the 3point line back a little b/c everyone can hit them it seems, but I don't think they need to widen the lane. There isn't usually a lot of dominant big men.

ah...I didnt notice the lane. If they made any changes I wouldnt mind seeing the 3 point line moved out, but its really not too bad. I like college basketball the way it is, and with every team in the conference playing each other twice

considering how many 3pters we always take. we prolly want the line as close as possible
