well i guess im going to court on wednesday then.

im going to say this: 2 kids in front of me went through the sign, then the cop puts his siren on full blast as im 1 foot in front of him, i get scared shitless run the sign trying to get out of the way as there was no traffic to be seen.

tell the truth, see what happens. be prepared to take your 3 points though, which is what you get for running a stop sign in front of a cop.

or motion for a continuance and get a lawyer

or just pay the 25 dollars because i rolled through the stop sign in the first place and save myself the time and 110 dollars, i doubt ill be able to get out of it.

the truth was i did a rolling stop, which is running a stop sign no traffic was to be seen but that doesnt make it any better for running the sign.

do you not still have to pay court costs even if you just pay it? i was under the impression only non moving violations were exempt from court costs, everything else pays even if you don't technically go to court.

nope i could have gotten out with just 25 dollars according to the ticket. im going to court with smoothcrim to try and get it reduced to a city violation or some crap.
