^ why? He got quite a few carries for a freshmen, and simply got pulled after fumbling, and replaced by someone who is performing about as well as you could ask of any RB with an o-line like we have, nevertheless a freshmen RB.

I know everybody jumped off the Toney train and hopped onto the Andre train.

Toney is still by boy, tho.

He knows what he has to do. If he can hold onto the ball better, he'll get the playing time. The talent is there and the duo is going to be nasty over the next couple of years.

He had a good last test score, Miami had already promised too many scholarships, and told him because of his increase in test scores they wanted him to go to JUCO and enroll the next year. Bobby didn't want to wait (especially for the U that screwed him), had several guys from HS at NCSU, and came here.

^^^ Bobby was the number 3 RB in the entire nation that year, I don't believe the "too many scholarships" conspiracy theory, they would have loved to have him at miami

the fact is his test scores went up a lot, and "the U" had taken a beating for the Willie Williams situation the year before so they were trying to keep their noses clean!

I was down there at the time, and they just wanted BW to take the test again, he took this as a lack of trust, and was mad that they would not go to the mat for him, so he talked to his high school coach, who i met at a resteraunt down there (i also met his dad flying up to the Ohio state game last year, nice guy, had never been to NC before) and he decided to go to NCSU, i am sure Amato did a nice sales job on him as well
