What is the status of your DSM, the one that was going to be in the 12s (or was it faster?), the one going to be doing like 800hp, back in what, 2004 or was it 2003?

And I am not trolling here, just curious.

I think it was the spring/summer of 2004 when he said it would be running this weekend.

basically, I was pretty close to completing it, then had an accident. I snapped a cam cap bolt when my torque wrench just didn't stop/click. well, while I was gone, my dad tried to drill it out for me. he didn't plug up any of the oil passages or plug valleys at that point my dad said he didn't want it to stay in the garage any longer but since he set me back some, he'd split the cost of having someone else finish it. well the guy who is (was) finishing it is in over his head. his 2 week estimation on completion is about 10 weeks passed and he's giving me shit about parts that were on my motor, "not being for" my car and "not fitting right." I'm basically trying to find someone to finish up for me for $1500 or less in a reasonable time frame. If I can't find that soon (before the weekend) I'll likely bring it home for winter break and try to finish it myself again.

If anyone here can recommend someone with skills, PM me and I'll give you the detailed rundown.

Also, the estimated power output is ~600hp (650hp turbo but stock ecu and the car will be tuned for a reasonable, streetable powerband), the goal is 10.99 but I don't know if my relative inexperience will get me there on this clutch/transmission.

[Edited on November 8, 2005 at 2:43 PM. Reason : clutch is an ACT2600 Xtreme, tranny is stock ]

[Edited on November 8, 2005 at 2:44 PM. Reason : the parts he's bitching about were specifically made for my car by machV and venom]
