my bios password...i know its just a jumper but i tried..and failed

dude, download the manual for you mobo. It should have instructions and pictures.

I'd definitely make sure the power is off or else reseting your BIOS password will be the least of your concerns

a lot of gigabyte boards, especially with the dual bios, don't have a cmos reset jumper
