the electric flux = E*n-hat*A = |E||n-hat|A*cos(theta)

where n-hat is the normal vector to the surface of the area (length 1).

to find the charge inside a surface, it's pretty much the electric flux times epsilon(0) (8.85e-12)

Don't forget that theta is the angle between the nhat vector and the electric field vector.
