Why bother with a carfax on something this old? Most likely it has a ton of owners and the odo has rolled a few times. 11/12/2005 12:55:58 AM |

SHIT STUPID SON BEECH
the guy I bought my car from checked the "mileage exceeds mechanical limits" box on the title on accident, and now carfax makes it look like my car is suspect. that dumbass.

i was just wanted to see what kind of history iut has
what was in it originally, i think the PF means v8
and i dont car about mileage, because it has prob been through its own far share of engines
right now it has a SBC in it, from a camaro 11/12/2005 8:16:31 AM |

Doesn't give much except you don't have the whole VIN.
Built in Pontiac, style '64-'66, serial 35473, Class A = <6000 lbs GVW
Acording to that link, only one v8 was offered at all during these years. 637 cubes or 10.4 L. Anyhow only offered in '66 so no v8 for you.

i was looking in some VIN decoder book at the bookstore yesterday, and it said that the PF meant it had Some special kind of front suspension setup and it cam stock with a 283 v8
but not sure, that might have been just for chevy's
either way id rather have an inline 6 or a slant 6, but i can at least find parts easily for the SBC in there now
well, if anyone can find a carfax on the thing, id appriciate it
thanks -Dave

affrimative
and im pretty sure that gmc had a slant 6, but it was called something weird like a blue flame 6 or something, but i think that was in the 50's.
