I am a campus rep. just trying to get Microsoft OneNote introduced to NCSU. This program has helped me with my school work and it is free to try. I am a student just like everyone else so I figured that any little help with school is appreciated. Check into it.

OneNote is a new software program from Microsoft that was designed specifically for students to help them organize their notes and other information better. ^^ you are a TERRIBLE promoter. Besides the fact that you ignored the rules of this forum to begin with, use somewhat misleading thread titles, you sound like a computer sputtering and spitting out mindless jargon.

there is nothing groundbreaking with this software. Maybe a few features that save 2 mouse clicks. Other than that it sounds like a waste of time for students and note-taking. Anyone with decent organization on a computer can handle that already.

Anyone who takes notes on a computer and doesn't take the time to be organized will lose interest in this program anyways.

seedless......Yes this program can be used for meeting and seminars or any other area that putting imformation in an organized place would be of use.

calledtoarms....The thread is not misleading because Microsoft does want to help NCSU students by allowing those students that would like to try a program for free that may help them, they now have that opportunity. There is more to the program that saving you from 2 mouse clicks. If you would try the free program you may actually enjoy it instead of making statements without even trying the software. Then if you do not like the program, unistal it and go register to win prizes.

ewstephe.....I use this program everyday and have had no complications. If for some reason you computer shuts down or whatever may happen, the notes are saved still because there is no saving, it is just automatically done and stored so that you will never lose anything. Try the program, you may like it.
