UCSB is hosting their international capture the flag security contest Dec. 9th of 2005. NCSU has participated before and I was wondering who would be interested in participating this year. We have less than a month to get a team together, so let me know asap if you are interested and reply in this thread with your email address.

It is distributed over the internet and contained within a VPN, so all that is required of you is to be able to participate on Dec. 9th somewhere on NCSU campus (for a good portion of the day).

If there is enough interest I will organize a team and we can get our stuff together soon.

No participants are expected to be experts, but it is important to have a basic understanding of security/networking/*nix.
