I've got a virus on my Windows 2000 Pro computer. Whenever I try to run system tools like the task manager or antivirus software, they'll come up in a new window for a second and then disappear because they are disabled by the virus. I ran a full system scan in safe mode with Ad-aware and Symantec Antivirus , but neither one of them got rid of it. How can I find it and delete it?

Good practice when it comes to virii: format and reinstall.
