I'm having issues solving the following two problems...I don't know what I'm doing wrong and they're due tonight at 11:59...please help!!
7. [SF6 23.P.040.] An object is placed 20 cm to the left of a converging lens of focal length 29 cm. A diverging lens of focal length 11 cm is 25 cm to the right of the converging lens. Find the position and magnification of the final image.

8. [SF6 23.P.044.] Two converging lenses having focal lengths of 14.0 cm and 22.0 cm are placed 50 cm apart, as shown in Figure P23.44. The final image is to be located between the lenses, at the position indicated.

p is unknown
distance between first lens and final image is 31 cm
final image is down

(a) How far to the left of the first lens should the object be positioned?

(b) What is the overall magnification?
