I want to take my family to see the Nutcracker when I go to Charlotte, but it seems that there are two separate companies, one at the Blumenthal theatre and the other at Ovens auditorium. Has anyone ever been to either or both? What do you think?

I would like to take them to the one at Ovens because they have show dates on the date that I will be there, however it has mixed reviews online. Has anyone been to that one in particular? Impressions?

the quality of the show will be different each year as the cast changes.
Go with the theatre and show you can make it with.

I go every year with my grandmother to the Blumenthal theatre - both are good, but I think that the Blumenthal theatre has a better location, it's right downtown and there's restaurants around it.
