i've been talked into seeing the show tomorrow. anybody familiar with these guys?

Yes. Southern rock with a tendency to sing ballads. Should be a good show.
I am going with a group of my people as well. You are fortunate to have been talked into going. Did you get your tickets yet?
I got mine from Schoolkids on Hillsborough. They *might* sell out since they sold out at Lincoln Theatre
several months back.

my guy's getting me a ticket today. apparently, he and his friends are obsessed with this band and went to every show of theirs in like, a three state radius the last time they toured.

They rock, saw Patterson Hood play here in NYC a few weeks ago, can't wait for the new album in the spring.

Oh man, I went tonight, and that was a badass show. First time seeing them, but probably will not be the last.
