This isn't a poll. Does anyone know if there is any kind of credible number as to just how many listeners Stern has in total? ...or at least a decent estimation? 11/17/2005 11:48:36 AM |

Howard Stern is, in my humble opinion, the greatest radio personality of all-time. he's definitely the most successful and influential radio personality of at least the second half of the 20th century, and perhaps ever. his number of listeners, at least as reported, has often fluxtuated between 10 to 15 million. 11/17/2005 4:35:05 PM |

^edward r murrow
thats not up for debate
i can give you Stern for modern radio, easily
but for all time radio dominance, nobody touched, touches, or will touch Murrow
man easily had over 40 million listeners during his peak periods] 11/17/2005 4:38:43 PM |

i mean it depends what stations you're listening to. i've lived in a lot of places and i definately like the stations here the most, but maybe that's just for my taste. new music tends to get played here first, and then drift eastwards. and i said one of the best in the country... most big cities will have about an equally good selection of stations.11/17/2005 7:30:34 PM |
