I need to find the wire under the steering column that connects to the horn switch in the steering wheel. I've got something that says it's either brown or green with a yellow stripe. There are two brown wires and a green w/ yellow but neither is it, any suggestion on how I can find this wire? My car is a 2000 Nissan Altima.

I'm using a probe, the problem is in the number of wires, plus the SRS wires are not cased in red or yellow like I was hoping they would be so I don't want to just poke the probe all over the place. Earlier and later models have a white w/ green wire and the wire at the actual horn is dark green. The chilton's manual has wiring diagrams but I can't find the horn in any of them (there's not a diagram for accessories).

take off the front of the steering wheel/airbag whatever and you should be able to see the horn switch. I don't know how the airbag system works but it'd be quite funny if you probed a wire that happened to deploy the airbag.
