I mean like sometimes, say while playing halo, you'll move the thumbstick up or down and it'll stick and your person will just keep rotating whatever direction you were making them go?

basically i'm looking for a way to fix this if possible, i know most of you know what the hell i'm talking about..............

I have one that gets slightly stuck going right... I guess the pot in it had gone bad or something. Sucks because it's my favorite controller, too.

i've seen that happen with all controllers before. most of the time its just something stuck in there or them being worn.

they just wear out over time. if you're really into it, you can take it apart and try to clean/lubricate it (don't use oil to lube plastic though). better off just buying a new one

Had an XBOX since 2001, never had that happen to a controller. I have had a couple wires fray where it bends coming out of the controller, and one that always gave me a reconnect your controller message.
