Anyone ever had NAUTA as an instructor? That's what it is listed as on the registration stuff, but I didn't know if anyone had ever heard of him. Couldn't find him on the school tool, so thought I'd ask. 11/22/2005 4:00:24 PM |

It used to be taught by Fountain and Surh. There must be a new professor (probably replacing Fountain). 11/22/2005 4:46:59 PM |

Him? There is a Lauren Nauta I think. She's into Modern South Asia, History of Medicine, Environmental History, and World History.
She looks bubbly:
And there is this blurb:
Lauren Nauta will be joining the Department of History in January, 2006. Lauren will teach South Asia environmental history. Her research focuses on the history of rural health and medicine. http://www.chass.ncsu.edu/chass/page.php?name=his_achieves
Beyond that, I know nothing... 11/22/2005 10:19:14 PM |

Take Sheftall. I'm taking it right now, and if you pay good attention in class and write down just a little extra from what he puts on the board, you can make an A without reading much.
