I think winning the maui title and particularly tonight's game proves they are the best team in the country

they won in a grind out defensive kind of way when their star players weren't on and still took a hold of the game that they wouldn't relinguish

players just seemed to step up at the right time: Anderson off the bench, Brown's clutch basket, freshmen hitting big shots

plus all this without their starting point guard

texas is number one in my book

uconn is a close second and will probably be on top at the end of the year

even before tonight's game, i don't see how anyone can think duke is the best team in the country. they have a lot to prove

i also think uconn is the best. they are looking like 2 years ago defensivly and when they get williams back the offense will be kicking.

also says alot about gonzaga. raivio played the worst game of his career and they only lost by 2 the day after tripple ot

its not right to judge teams off the first few games but people think duke is the best because they have the most talent right now. i dont see what they have to prove. they lost 5 of the six or so games they lost last year because of lack of depth and now they are verty deep.

yeah, zag was pretty good despite being more tired, having less depth, less talent, etc.
