We have always played well under Herb in the 2nd half of the year and in the ACC tournament. Only Coach K and Herb have winning records in the ACC tourney. Herb is not the greatest coach in the world but come on.

Which is why we made the sweet 16 last year...why we've beaten duke twice in the past few years, why we've won more ACC toyrney games in the past 5 years than anyone other than duke, why we've been to the postseason for 4 years in a row, why we were ranked going into this game, why, even when playing like total ass, we still held a higher ranked team on the road to a low point total and still had a shot at a win, shall we go on, or are you aware of your douchebaggery?

We didn't even have to shoot the three. There were over fifteen seconds left when we came up the court. Even if we made a three we could only tie. Why not drive to the basket, (knowing that they do not want to foul) if we made it, it would have been a one point game. Then we foul, and hopefully are down by less than three with ten seonds left.

there should be over 25 seconds left every time we come up the court, otherwise it's a turnover. i think they call it "10 seconds" or something like that...

We once again looked lost on that final play. However, after watching the final play 10 times on the DVR, I'd have to say that the Brian Cardinal wannabe did jump into Evtimov. A shooter can move forward in his shot, Majerus's "principal of verticality" doesn't work when you move into the shooter. Otherwise you could just slam into people on every shot as long as your hands were straight up. GG to Herb and Coach Harris for getting in the refs face at the end of the game.

that should not have been a called foul. the defender played it well. if herb signaled for a timeout, he should have gotten it though.

That is what Herb was so mad about at the end of the game. When he saw Atsur stop and no shot was there you could see he was signaling for a timeout.

Baldy jumped into Evtimov, and Evtimov jumped into baldy. That call usually goes to the offense, but on the last play you won't get it more than 40% of the time. You can +/- that 20 or 30 % based on whether you are Duke or NC State.
