So I get the car apart, and UPS still hasn't shown up with the parts from BFI
and its now 4:50

Uh why is the front end off?...Please tell me you dont have to remove all that to do a timing belt

you still have a few parts to take off before you get to the timing belt... keep working.

if its one job ive hated to do in the past its an audi timing belt, water pump when i first became a tech. god it sucked

Damn that still seems like a major PITA. Sounds like you got it under control though. Good luck with the rest of it man.

yes pulling the front end off is simple, the bumper is fucking rediculously easy, cant remember doing an A4 but on A6 you dont really have to take the whole radiator support assembly all the way off. hope getting the belt back on isnt as much of a bitch as the a6's are

looks like an apartment garage to me, ive had a few. beats the hell out of keeping your junk in the apartment or working in the parking lot where all the monkeys can gawk at you.
