Like whoa ... an interesting take view of Chicago presented significantly differently than Sufjan Stevens did. The grandma wierds me out a bit, like a really bad acid trip ...

I love it personally. It's cool how so many of the ideas come back up again in more than one song.

The grandma's voice is horrible, though, and I can see how it could come off as too pretentious...which explains the horrible press it's gotten. Definitely the kind of album you have to listen to all at once to enjoy, too.

Hopefully when Bitter Tea comes out in a couple months it'll be more like Blueberry Boat...which was freakin' awesome. Hooray for 7-minute long crazy ADD songs.
