Could a car really jump over a creek like it did in that movie and survive?

Seriously, i'd like to know... what are the chances it would be drivable after such a jump?

that was sweet! and to answer the first question. i think the car would have to be modified, maybe then it wouldn't fall apart.

you would need to beef the frame and suspension and add a lot of balast to the trunk to keep it from nosediving.

um which old james bond movie did that long chase scene awesome jump over the river/creek? that was real, and the landing ramp kept the car fairly intact

the taurus jump in road trip looked pretty real, although its doubtful that the car would be driveable after.

^ i was thinking a prerunner type setup would work well, but then that would be a truck not a car.

Let it buffer and then skip to about 2:50 and see what happens after a small jump.

^^ I really don't see how landing the jump would cause damage that looks like would come from running into a pole

a shit-ton! but a lot were re-used, or at least the shell. Most all of the chargers that were "jumped" or "wrecked" weren't working, running, complete vehicles.
