Usually I hate these threads, but with all this bitching and moaning from people after this game I think my eyes finally opened to what kind of fans we have posting on this place.

I mean some people are level headed like myself, but everyone else doing the same bitching and moaning that they did to begin the season last year is really tired.

our loss last night is nothing new. We do the same shit every year, winning 5 or 6 games and go undefeated...and then crumble against our first opposition.

Last night was the first time I've been able to watch the bball team this season, and I was highly disappointed after good things I've heard about them...

My main criticism was the way Herb used the bench. There are going to be nights for every team that they just don't shoot well. We had that night last night. However, I felt he would have used the freshman a bit to inject some energy when things went REAL BAD in the second half. Sure it was a tough game on the road against a good team but ANY bit of energy that a guy like Costner could have brought would have helped..

OK...yeah we lost. But crumble under the opposition? I don't know about that. It was a shitty game for both teams, no doubt. But it's not like we didn't have a chance to win it. It was a loss, but I don't know if I'd call that crumbling under the first real opposition.

But you're right. It does happen far too often.

Honestly I don't know why everyone is so pissed. Our team always sucks ass in the first half of a season. This isn't new or revolutionary.
