It's not a commercial, it's Claude Lelouch having fun with a gryo camera mount. Supposedly he got an F1 friend to do the driving.

5x^. I have no idea, but who in the world thought that was an evenly picked group? The tvr t350 only weighs like 2500 lbs, doesn't it? one site I found said 2425. Anyway, I can only imagine that driver error is the reason for the nsx beating the c6 in a straight line. they've had 15 years to figure out how to launch the nsx correctly, whereas nobody bought vettes over there until recently. Serious misinformation there. The owe it to car fans everywhere to show what the c6's suspension actually looks like if they're gonna just write it off as "oh, leaf springs, that's retarded history" like it was a hand-crank start.... And Jeremy Clarkson can suck it. The bastard admits publicly that he hates driving! But we just love to hear him kvetch.....

from the evo fq400 mr video: I'm assuming the long one is from a drive of the koenigsegg CC. Clarkson is the andy rooney of the british automotive press, I swear. "ooh, look at the stupid name! look at the blinkey stereo! look what a pain it is to do top gear acceleration in this massively turboed car!" Fucking learn to sound shit out and respect a man's last name asshole, turn off the stereo as you'll notice it folds up on itself (FQ400) and downshift if you want power! Does ANYONE really get depressed that their car needs to be downshifted from a cruising gear to get anywhere? Especially when it's 6th?! These guys are masters of deceipt. Sure they point out that the displacement is similar to a jug of milk, but they go and say the engine is that size (and therefore extra remarkable for its ability to produce 400 hp), not elaborating to their potentially uninformed audience that displacement is how much swept volume the pistons cover per cycle, not the size of the engine.... that's like pondering at how pepsi fits 12 ounces of cola into a can made from dramatically less aluminum and calling it a miracle of science. goddamnit I hate jeremy clarkson....

I generally like Top Gear and I agree with most of the shit they say, but I just think that C6 segment was retarded. There's no way it should have lost to an NSX in a drag race. He only glossed over the fact that the C6 is waaaaay cheaper than all those other cars like a 911 and an NSX. For that price point he should be comparing a Z06.

I'd imagine the new C6 isn't that great in a lot of respects, but it get's the job done. I think they should have been driving a Z06 anyways.

That drag race was pretty sad btw, it seemed like it got a horrible launch.
