You thinking about Discount Tire? They have a web presence and storefronts in Raleigh and Cary. I've heard of them accepting web prices at the stores.

http://www.edgeracing.com

cheapest place by far online for tires and only 8 bucks per tire and a 2 day zone to ship here...

just my opinion though.

best would, imho, be hubcap heaven in cary (behind pure gold). mark is cool as hell and he's helped me out a few times. he's one of the few people i would trust to not damage my wheels.

dannydigtl swears my MM autowerks, but ive never been there.

yeh, i like MM a lot because Kevin seems like a good guy who'll hook you up if he can. for ex. i was in a jam and needed HPDE 'legal' tires unexpectedly before an HPDE and he gave a used set in great shape for very cheap. i also lost a BBS centercap after i had some tires mounted (like 2 weeks after) and went to him to order me one through tire rack. he ordered it and gave it to me for free since he 'could' have been at fault sine he put took them on/off after the balancing.

he has no problem letting you in the back and talking shop for awhile while hes working on your car, etc.

so he has my business

Oddly, my tires will take 3 days to get here, even though I'm on the "2nd day" area from Florida...

If they're not here in time for this weekend, I won't be a happy camper.
