They are in their first year in the Big East obviously. However, they are new to 1-A the last 3 years I believe and didn't even HAVE a football program before 1997. This is not a team to take lightly simply because they have a directional name.

Here is their schedule/results this year. Notice the close game in Happy Valley and the beating of a very good Louisville team.

September 3 at Penn State L 23-13 <-- a few turnovers hurt bigtime
September 10 Florida A&M W 37-3
September 17 Central Florida W 31-14 <-- same UCF team that took USC to the brink
September 24 No. 9 Louisville W 45-14 <-- biggest win of the year
October 1 at No. 9 Miami L 27-7 <-- not a blowout
October 15 at Pittsburgh L 31-17 <-- bad loss. I can't explain that.
November 5 at Rutgers W 45-31
November 12 at Syracuse W 27-0
November 19 Cincinnati W 31-16
November 26 at Connecticut L 15-10 <-- bad loss. Very cold weather though FWIW.
December 3 No. 12 West Virginia L 28-13

UCF didnt play "USC" this year, but they did play South Carolina, and they lost by 9... wouldnt exactly call that taking them to the brink

i thought you watched the game... i mean, UCF never had the game in their hand, but they frustrated the hell out of spurrier... (of course, itw as the first game of the season for both teams, so it doesn't really count for how good/bad a team is)

this isn't a pushover game, i don't think anybody with half a brain is going to think it is...

yeah, i met deandre down at the FSU game. he sat right in front of us... pretty cool guy. tiny, but im sure he's fast as hell like they say he is.

I coulda swore they have a brother at USF, but I checked their roster and didn't see a Morgan or anyone from Riviera Beach.

this is DaJuan and DeAndre's brother... Kevin Halibruton is his name according to a Pack Pride article, but the only Halibruton that I see on USF's roster is Darren Halibruton. This must be him since he's from Suncoast HS along with DaJuan/DeAndre.
