If you did, did you have any problems with the management if you didn't want to renew your lease? 12/6/2005 8:43:12 AM |

I've heard that apartment management can sometimes get into gray areas of leasing contracts and try and cause problems if they're being less than reputable. 12/6/2005 10:32:23 AM |

^^ Just remember, ambiguity in a contract ("gray areas") are usually construed against the person who drafted the contract. In other words, unless the tenant was the one who wrote the lease, then any "gray area" they try to get into should be construed against the landlord. 12/6/2005 11:22:09 AM |

My boyfriend, now husband, lived in those apartements for a year back in 2001. He had no problem with not renewing his lease. In fact, when he lived there, the lease was only for 6 months and then it was month-to-month after that. He just had to give them 30 days notice when he wanted to move out. I don't know what would have happened had he not given his 30 day notice, however, but whatever would have happened, it most likely would have been his fault for failing to notify the leasing office in the proper amount of time. 12/6/2005 11:53:03 AM |

Yeah, it's a pretty sketch looking apartment complex, and it's a motel-style layout, but it's right next to Centennial. As long as there is no glaring problems with security and management, it would be worth it considering the location. 12/6/2005 12:17:42 PM |

are you looking to live there?
if youre looking for a cheap, one bedroom place close to centenial, i would check out pine knoll on avent ferry. centenial is the backyard, its on a bus route, and its cheap. they are older, but not bad. i lived there for a year and had no major problems. 12/6/2005 1:05:25 PM |
