I'm going to make a mix CD of them, to listen to while at work. So far this is what I have that I enjoy. Please name some other good ones. There's so many, I really don't feel like downloading alot of them only to find out that a total of 5 are actually worth listening to. I like upbeat songs, not really slow songs, but a traditional (slow) song with an upbeat kick is fine.
Also, I'm not sure of these titles, because when I download stuff it's often mislabelled.
Thanks!
I have (and enjoy):
Carol of the Bells Christmas Canon Rock Wizards of Winter Nutcracker Suite (aka Revenge of the Sugar Plums?) aka Home Alone song Beethoven's 5th Canon in D (little kids singing in the beginning?) 12/7/2005 11:43:17 PM |

how could you think they only did christmas stuff when you HAVE beethoven's 5th and Canon in D?
and shouldn't this be entertainment?

I only have The Lost Christmas Eve CD, but my favorites on the CD are Wizards of Winter, Anno Domine, and Wish Liszt (yes it's spelled correctly). Those are probably my top 3 songs of the ones I have right now. 12/8/2005 12:19:50 AM |

When you have time take a listen to Wizards In Winter (The Lost Christmas Eve album). Then listen to A Mad Russian's Christmas (Christmas Eve And Other Stories album). Both of these songs are done by Trans-Siberian, however you'll notice that Wizards of Winter is in Mad Russian if you listen closely.
I don't know why this annoys me, but it does. It's like they ripped their own song, relabeled it, and sold it again, lol. Other than that I like them. 12/8/2005 12:22:59 PM |

I went to see them and thought they were great! They did a song from their new album coming out, which has always been a favorite song of mine that they play in a lot of movies - "O Fortuna" .

Wizards of Winter has a light show associated with it, some guy rigged up his house to that song. It's floating around here on TWW somewhere...that was an awesome show!
Thanks for all the information guys! I'm actually on the TSO website now listening to all their "free songs". There's only 10 or so, but it gives me something nice to listen to at work. Thanks! 12/8/2005 2:33:45 PM |

My favorite TSO Christmas songs:
*Christmas Eve & Other Stories The Silent Nutcracker A Mad Russian's Christmas Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24
*Beethoven's Last Night Requiem Fur Elise Beethoven
*Lost Christmas Eve Wizards in Winter Anno Domine Siberian Sleigh Ride Wish Liszt Christmas Cannon Rock
The light show using Wizards of Winter was shut down this week due to a fender bender caused from the traffic. The other thread on here somewhere has a link to the news article.
And as a band, does TSO release a non-Christmas album? I thought that currently their non-Christmas stuff was released under different band names? And TSO was a compilation of members from several bands? But they did mention the release of a non-Christmas CD by TSO at the concer the other week. 12/8/2005 11:54:40 PM |
