I just requested a student ticket and 4 guest tickets. I guess the students haven't bought anything compared to the regular fan?

if we can still get that many student tickets, it probably will look pretty empty.

It's a men's game in Reynolds. All of the people who hate the RBC Center love this game.

I already got two tickets for my future father-in-law and my fiancee's brother. I have a dinner party and can't make it up for the game....

it's not the last game ever is it?

because the way they worded the sentence it makes it seem like we've had our last game ever at Reynold's for 8 straight seasons.

I remember during our last full season at Reynolds everyone made a big deal about going to the FSU game because it would be the last time that we'd ever played there. Even had to camp out to get tickets to see fucking FSU. What a bunch of monkey shit

this was my point....every year they tell us that its the last game ever, only to see it now essentially become an annual final game ever.

It's horseshit.

if it were up to me, i would have much rather remodeled Reynolds and add a huge number of seats as opposed to the RBC. i know the RBC is cool and all, but i grew up parking on Hillsborough street, eating at brothers pizza, then me, my older brother, and my dad walking to the game.....ON CAMPUS!

Now that was some intimidating shit!

anyone else have similar experiences with Wolfpack B-ball growing up?

NO. I'm not from NC. I have similar experiences where I'm from though for a different program.

I definitely remember the feeling coming out of the Reynolds tunnel and seeing the face of the building with lines of red streaming in and being intimidated. It didn't help that the building would shake when everyone really got going.

As for it being sold out, I'm sure they sold all the tickets they had, but they probably only printed 9,000 or so. Traditionally, they undersell this game on purpose so that only the sidelines and a little bit of the upper level ends are filled, so they don't have to deal with the hassles of a packed Reynolds.

^You're right. Kansas did a great job with Allen Fieldhouse. I think they took the roof off and went up. There are ways to expand capacity and preserve the historic, compact basketball arena.

Duke vs Texas is at the same time

You'd have to be an idiot to miss #1 vs #2 to see a glorified scrimmage

Yeah, really. You would really sit at home and watch Duke vs. Texas instead of the Pack play?

Whats the deal with student tickets for this game? Will they their be scanners at every entrance or what?

Tape the Duke game, or just watch it all over ESPN for the next 4 days.

i personally would rather go see a game in Reynolds than watch an early season game on TV between #1 and #2. even if Duke loses it won't hurt them much. they'll still be in the top 5 more than likely, depending on how they play.

won't happen b/c even if they did make it to the 14k seat configuration that's still 5k seats that they could sell in the RBC Center. i'd like to play a good out of conference opponent in there once a year though. someone like UNCC or Xavier.

why did they do the end seating where the students sat like that. i liked the original style of the seats where they went all the way back to the permanent seating. it looked odd looking down at those seat and seeing a big gap between the two sets of seats.

Alright...so we won.

I read in the paper that Herb blew up on the team after some poor play. Anybody actually witness it?

Did anybody notice any recruits and do any chants or anything?

I'm surprised that none of these things have been brought up yet.

For shame, T-Dubbers, I expected better out of you guys.

Herb got extremely angry! He kicked a ball and called timeout. It wasnt a hard kick, but one out of frustration. But anyways after that the team played really well. Maybe he needs to show more anger.

I had read that he kicked a ball, got mad and red, was cursing, and smacked Evtimov on the leg.

Ol' Boy Knight would be proud

^^^^ Because the format of the new volleyball court and the wall-to-wall floor made the old end bleachers obsolete.

well didn't the old end seats used to be easy to take down and store compactly to the side under the permanent stands?

I'm glad Herb got fired up...we looked REALLY refined in the 2nd half.

The wide-open threes were actually falling, and we were tossing some SICK assists around...teamwork was very apparant. However, Cam still seemed cocky as usual, but his 1st half inbounds dunk was NASTY

My favorite part of the game was Fells' dunk at the end. That shit was totally uncalled for with that much time left, but it was fucking awesome.
