The one I saw was on the far left side adjacent to the brake pedal (but sticking out of the floor)

dimmer switch for the highbeams. I still have the little foot thing on it that I got in high school...

It makes it hard to do a flash to pass(required in many places, even here probably, though no one does it). Also, it's hard to clutch, brake and dim your lights all at the same time.

I've got the gas pedal foot too. I'll think about it, but I want to hold on to them for now.

on some of the even older ones, it's the starter button. some of them look a lot like a dimmer switch
