he's evidently a pocket passer who's "confident but not cocky" says the link. Sounds like a Rivers... He's Alabaman like Rivers...

check out his senior stats, wow,. kid is an amazing qb per his film. grew up a bama fan but alabama never extended an offer b/c they are "all-in" on tim tebow this year. its 1 or none for them. this kid will be a huge pick up for whatever school he chooses.

we were never really recruiting this guy that hard...this is pretty much a non story. We've got burke, and BS is our only other target im hearing of.

I really don't think Madison is a major factor with Shaeffer... could be wrong

I just don't think Shaeffer is going all the way up there. It's us or UF, IMO

the only leverage Florida has over us is 2 main things:
They will play Tennessee.
They have a better program at the moment.

Burke was a 4* and #6 QB in the nation before he committed.......then he became a 3* and the #17 QB in the nation.......and then he became the #19 QB in the nation.

Florida really wants that Tebow kid, which is the rumor as to why Florida's former 2nd string QB decided to leave the Gator program. I don't know how hard UF is going after Schaeffer and I'd be surprised if he picked them.

Florida hasn't given Shaeffer a commitable offer yet. They're planning on doing it at his visit in January.

They're not pursuing him a whole heckuvalot right now becuase they're waiting to see what Tebow does. After Tebow commits... especially if it's Bama, they'll put on the full court press. From what I gather, Tebow is a little uneasy about them recruiting Shaeffer too, so they're playing low key with Shaeffer in hopes of him coming to UF.

Pretty smart strategy, actually.

Just a gut feeling. I did put "In My Opinion". It's not that "baseless".. I mean, I have been following whatever info I could. I just think with Alvarez stepping down, Wiscy being so far away, and I think Stocco comes back next year (?) , I doubt he ends up there

From reading articles and such, I just feel like it's UF or NC State. He still visits Ole Miss... and they could creep back into it (He was committed there until Mazzowned got fired).... but IN MY OPINION, it's UF or State.

Listening to comments he's made, it sounds like he wants Florida. . UF getting a commitment from Tebow would go a long way for State's chances

Its kinda built in NC State fans since that piece of shit muckraking book (written by unc alum) was out in the late '80s that contributed to the NCAA violations on our basketball team.
