I was lucky enough to get some great tickets through my girlfriend's family who grew up with Ira David Wood (2 time local actor of the year, etc, etc). It was a REALLY awesome show. It's a very funny take on the typical Christmas Carol story with tons of jokes that change every year...depending on the hot topics. If any of you get a chance to see it I highly recommend it.

Ira David Wood is the father of Evan Rachel Wood if you all didn't know that. He plays Scrooge and was really great. I was able to meet him after the show with the girlfriend's family and he's a real class act, and very funny. So everyone go check it out (if you can happen to get tickets).

It was REALLY funny...I won't ruin it for you, but it's by far the best live show I've ever seen. All of the characters are really great. The Ghost of Christmas Present has a Blues cd (I'm full of information after seeing it with friends of the cast...haha)..."Big John Shearer"

* Patrick Stogner: A Broadway veteran -- he played the ill-fated Gavroche in "Les Miserables" -- Patrick, 12, is the son of WTVD anchor Larry Stogner. He played Tiny Tim in Raleigh and then performed the role for two years at Madison Square Garden.

* Terrence Mann: A Tony Award-nominated actor and N.C. School of the Arts alum, he was one of the original collaborators, acting, writing songs and playing piano.
